You better believe it! Now in 2012 you’ll be able to get your drink on at the same place you get your morning coffee. The coffee giant, Starbucks, announced on Monday that they will as they describe it in the title, ‘Extend Evening Day-Part Concept’, roughly translates to, ‘Gain more evening business by adding a beer, wine, and several other food options to the menu list’.

Don’t get too excited yet, but still be excited because you’ll have to go to a few specific locations to get this late night menu. Currently, you can only get this menu in 5 locations in Seattle and one branch in Portland, OR. But, here’s the good news… Near the end of 2012 Starbucks has decided to expand this concept to about 4-6 store locations in Atlanta and Southern California.

All that I can say about that is… Awesome; however, I’m interested to see how it will go. Some people may feel that by adding the extended menu may take away some of the attributes most people enjoy, the quiet and peaceful environment. But only time will tell, so raise your glasses high and cheers to Starbucks for trying something new.
